Art and nature are my muses. The colours of nature connect us to life with effortless beauty. I dream in colour, and through our kaftans we offer a deeply personal freedom for your customers -an expression of who they are, painted in a unique palette.

The CMT of each kaftan is hand-crafted by my mother Linda, bringing her beautiful essence to each piece.

Our kaftans can be pulled as tight as is comfortable and expand to an 82cm width, as necessary.

Where we ship

We ship from CapeTown, South Africa to all provinces nationwide. International
shipping is available. Please contact us.

Shipping Costs

Local Cape Town deliveries are hand delivered and free. National deliveries quoted based on quantity of the shipment.

Processing and dispatch

Orders placed Monday–Friday (excluding public holidays) are processed within 1–2
business days after payment confirmation.

If we foresee any delay, we’ll notify you by email.

Domestic shipping rates (South Africa)

Rate is quoted based on the number of kaftans being shipped.

We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes; please provide a physical address.

Estimated delivery timeframes

Main centres: 2–3 business days from dispatch.

Outlying/remote areas: 3–4 business days from dispatch. Note: Delivery timelines are estimates provided by our courier partners and may vary due to factors outside our control.

Tracking and delivery

You’ll receive an order confirmation email as soon as your order is received.

A signature may be required on delivery. Please provide an address where someone is available between 8:00 and 17:00.

International shipping

International shipping rates are calculated based on destination, parcel size/weight, and service selected. For quotes or to confirm eligibility to your country, please
contact us before placing your order.

Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing.

Duties, taxes, and customs

International orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Import duties, taxes, and customs fees (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in our shipping charges.

Customs inspections may add time to the estimated delivery window.

Delivery issues and lost/damaged parcels

If your order arrives damaged or is marked as delivered but not received, contact us within 7 days with your order number and any relevant photos. We’ll assist with a carrier investigation and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. Orders returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address may incur additional reshipment charges.

Order changes and cancellations

We begin processing quickly. If you need to change or cancel your order, contact
us within 1 hour of placing it. We’ll do our best, but changes aren’t guaranteed once your order is packed or dispatched.

Split shipments

To speed up delivery, items may ship separately at no extra charge. You’ll receive tracking for each parcel.

RETURNS

Dawn to Dusk Returns & Exchanges Policy

Our promise

We want you and your customers to feel confident in every Dawn to Dusk purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll help with a return or exchange—quickly and fairly.

Return window

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 12 days of delivery.

Items must be in original condition: unused, unwashed, unworn, free of stains/odours, with original packaging.

What’s not returnable

Items returned beyond the window or not in re-saleable condition.

Refunds and store credit

Standard returns are refunded via EFT. You may opt for store credit instead.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless your item was incorrect or defective.

Exchanges

Free exchange for a different garment within 30 days, subject to availability.

Exchanges may incur shipping.

Return shipping costs

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

For approved defects, damaged, or incorrect items, Dawn to Dusk covers return shipping (local.)

We are not responsible for returns lost in transit without proof of delivery.

Optionally, you may use your own carrier.

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We take our own quality control photos of each kaftan that leaves our store.

We’ll arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund and cover related shipping costs.

Processing time

Once your return is delivered to our facility, please allow 3–5 business days for inspection and processing.

Refunds can take an additional 3–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

returns

International
customers may return items, but duties/taxes and original shipping are
non-refundable.

Unless the item is defective/incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping.

Promotions may be refunded proportionally based on the discounted price.

Condition requirements

Please return items in original packaging when possible. Returns that are worn,
washed, altered, or damaged (including deodorant or makeup stains) may be

Kaftan Care Guide

Each kaftan is supplied with a Dawn To Dusk swing tag sharing the Gentle Art of Kaftan Care.

The Message to your Customer:

You now own a one-of-a-kind DAWN TO DUSK creation, crafted with care & intention.

Hand wash only in cool water.

Use a mild, silk-friendly detergent.

Swirl gently – never rub, wring, or soak.

Rinse well; a touch of vinegar in the final rinse restores natural shine.

Roll in a soft towel to remove excess water, then reshape
and dry flat or in shade.

Iron inside-out on the lowest silk setting, with a cloth between iron and fabric.

Avoid direct sun, steam, and harsh chemicals.

Your kaftan is unique – cherish it, and it will flow with you from dawn to dusk.
